I have been watching all the stories related to elections in Gujrat, Sonia slamming at Modi, Manmohan cursing Modi, Keshubhai Patel betraying Modi and not voting even for himself. Suresh Mehta resigns from BJP revolting against Modi. Doesn't all this show that everybody is scared of Modi? Seems to be a "Modi Fobia" and everybody is obsessed with an anti Modi feeling.
Even the exit polls showed that Modi is going to win even if he loses some of his seats. I knew this before the exit poll as I had full confidence over Modi's ability. I have never been to Gujrat in Modi's regime but I have many friends who have been there, have lived there and they love Modi. I never heard anybody having a bad opinion about Modi and I really trust my friends or any Gujrati who has already voted or is going to vote in the current polls.
You may have seen the news that recently NRIs also spoke in favor of Modi and requested Gujrati's to vote in his favor. NRI's, though distant from their mother country, probably know more about the right and wrong administration as they have seen a good administration and know what a good administration can be.
Why so much opposition? Why so much of bitterness? Let us start from Modi's own home-BJP. Keshubhai Patel, Suresh Mehta and other rebels have their own necessity to do whatever they are doing right now. These folks who also have been Gujrat chief ministers in the past, know that their political career has no growth if they have to work under Modi. Best case, they can become a minister with some important portfolio such as home or finance but finally they have to work under Modi-who suddenly came out of blue from BJP as an organizational worker with no political experience at all and became the hero of the country by turning Gujrat into an economic powerhouse thru his excellent administration. What Keshubhai should be doing? Revolting! If he doesn't do what he is doing, his political career is almost gone this time and everybody has a right to survive.
Congress at the other side, after badly losing the UP elections, doesn't want to lose Gujrat. They have put all their strength on Gujrat which means Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh. As always, there cannot be any other key player in congress except for someone with a last name "Gandhi" and Manmohan becomes another key player as he is a prime minister. Going further and looking at these personalities, they are at their most bitterness this time-"Merchant of death", "State of fear and violence" and many other phrases have been used for Modi, his administration and his state and provoked Modi to react. Agreed that Gujrat is Gandhi's land where Modi should have forgiven these bitter mouthed fellows but the scene has changed now. We cannot just forgive people who misinform the public and unfairly grab the power.
Congress and all of congress's friends have tried their best to frame Modi for Gujrat's violence and they don't want to lose any opportunity to malign him but they have never been successful proving the charges. Let me tell you that I am not favoring Modi on Gujrat's violence until I hear something from the courts and I don't even trust ONLY my Hindu friends but let us think about Congress here: Didn't Gujrat see violence under Congress's regime? Do they really have rights to use phrases such as "Merchant of death"? Certainly NO! The fact of the matter is that despite having all powers to manipulate facts, Congress has not been able to prove charges against Modi, he is still enjoying the mandate of the public and I am sure he will continue to enjoy.
Congress politicians and the rebels within BJP need to wake up, understand the facts and also think about the public whom they are trying to fool. Congress needs to think about Gandhi's name which they have been using to grab power for last fifty plus years. Even if they don't wake up, I am sure Modi doesn't care about them and he is going to come back with flying colors and would continue to rule Gujrat for next 50 years.
Hamara Gujrat Mahaan!!!
